Description

The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing about a world with compassionate care, effective support, and a future free of frontotemporal degeneration, the most common dementia for people under age 60. We provide practical, accurate information to people affected by FTD each year via our website, newsletters and toll-free HelpLine; fund important grants that drive scientific research in the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of FTD; and cultivate a community of people whose lives have been affected by FTD who can support each other and lessen the isolation so common to this disease.
