Description

The Association of Gastrointestinal Motility Disorders, Inc. (AGMD) is an international, non-profit organization that functions as an information resource center for people affected by digestive motility disorders. The organization also serves as an integral resource for members of the medical community. AGMD was established in 1991 and was formerly known as the Association of Gastrointestinal Motility Disorders, Inc. AGMD offers three newsletters: the AGMD Beacon, AGMD Search And Research, and the AGMD Digestive Motility Forum. It also offers many other educational materials. Periodically AGMD distributes questionnaires to its members for the purpose of collecting information, which is later compiled and published in order to gain better insight into digestive motility diseases. AGMD also provides networking to its members, as well as referral lists of physicians who treat digestive motility diseases.
