Description

The Canadian Organization for Rare Disorder's (CORD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of lives of all persons affected by rare disorders through an educational and informational support network. CORD's objectives are the dissemination of information on rare disorders to all interested parties; to encourage medical research into the causes and effects of rare disorders; and to work in harmony with the media and medical community to increase public awareness about the existence of rare disorders in Canada. Upon request, CORD will link other families and individuals with similar rare disorders through a networking system.
