Description

The Fibromuscular Dysplasia Society of America (FMDSA) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit health organization dedicated to improving the lives of these afflicted with fibromuscular dysplasia, a rare arterial disease, by building awareness and raising funds to promote research on new diagnostic tools and treatments. Fibromuscular dysplasia causes some blood vessels in the body to narrow, or to become enlarged in places, leading to a variety of problems that may include high blood pressure, stroke, kidney failure and/or heart attack.
