The International Foundation for CDKL5 Research (IFCR) is a voluntary organization whose mission is to lead the way in finding treatments and a cure for CDKL5 disorders by funding global research efforts and increasing awareness of CDKL5 disorders. IFCR also strives to enhance the quality of life for those affected by CDKL5 disorders by providing information, programs, and services. CDKL5, which stands for cyclin-dependent kinase-like 5, is a rare X-linked genetic disorder that results in early onset, difficult to control seizures, and severe neurodevelopmental impairment.
